Job Summary:
ISAC is seeking a motivated, reliable, and responsible Grant Writer and Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial for securing funding to sustain and grow our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, and managing the grant process from application to final reporting. The position is performance-based, with a percentage of successful grants awarded as payment, along with a potential monthly salary once funds are secured. A passion for the performing arts is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify relevant grant opportunities from various sources, including government bodies, private foundations, and European and international organizations.
Write and submit grant proposals, ensuring compliance with funder guidelines and deadlines.
Manage the entire grant process, including tracking application statuses, preparing progress reports, and ensuring funds are used according to grant agreements.
Collaborate with ISAC’s team to gather necessary information and documentation for grant applications.
Maintain relationships with funders and keep them informed of project progress.
Develop a strategy for continuous grant acquisition to ensure long-term financial sustainability for ISAC.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in grant writing and grant management, preferably in the arts and culture sector.
Strong research skills to identify funding opportunities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Native Slovak language skills required.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of financial management and budgeting for non-profits.
Familiarity with the Slovak and European grant landscape is a plus.
