Social Media Management
Oversee daily operations of GLOBSEC’s social media platforms, including content scheduling and updating of posts
Develop and implement strategies to attract new followers from identified target groups
Collaborate with Team Leaders and Project Managers to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with communication objectives
Boost posts strategically to optimize engagement and reach in line with project and team needs
Identify social media trends and best practices
Providing actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization
Use content management systems (e.g., WordPress) to implement website updates, including adding new content and editing existing pages. ensuring consistency and functionality
Campaign and Content Strategy
Work closely with the Director of Communications and Marketing to implement clear, impactful digital media plans aligned with GLOBSEC’s objectives
Coordinate with media partners, creative agencies, and internal teams to develop visually appealing and impactful marketing assets and deliver innovative and effective digital media solutions
Design, manage, and implement social media strategies for flagship GLOBSEC events and products, monitor KPIs and provide performance insights
Implement tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance
Stay updated with the marketing trends, technologies and best practices to drive campaign innovation
Performance Tracking and Analysis
Regularly analyze campaign metrics, SEO data, and social media trends, providing actionable insights to improve performance.
Prepare and present campaign reports and insights to team, highlighting the key findings and recommendations.
Maintain expertise in performance tracking tools and methodologies to continually improve GLOBSEC’s digital presence and audience engagement
Identify opportunities for campaign improvements and implement strategic adjustments as needed
Education
Master’s degree in international relations, Politics, Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or related fields
Experience
2-3 years in digital marketing, account management, or social media strategy
Knowledge or interest in international relations, politics, or security issues is an advantage
Skills and Competencies
Social media savvy, with a passion for staying on top of digital trends and best practices
Understanding of digital management tools and analytics such as Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, WordPress, and Mailchimp for campaign execution
Technical expertise in SEO, PPC, and SSM, with a strategic mindset capable of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills, creativity, and an eye for detail, with a collaborative team-player approach
A curious, creative, and innovative mindset with a proactive approach to generating new ideas and solutions
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments
