Job description

About G-Force:

G-Force is a climate-tech pre/seed investment fund, backed by Founders Factory, and dedicated to supporting the next generation of innovators tackling climate change. We invest in early-stage companies developing solutions to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions and create a sustainable future.

In addition to funding, we provide hands-on support in areas such as product-market fit, strategic partnerships, and scaling businesses globally. Our portfolio spans Europe and beyond, working with exceptional founders who are driving the transition to a low-carbon economy.

G-Force is also a key partner in several high-impact, EU-funded projects that focus on fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in the climate-tech space. In less than three years of its existence G-Force has won 11 EU grants and is the only Slovak partner of the European Innovation Council, Europe's flagship innovation programme to identify, develop and scale breakthrough technologies and game changing innovations.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about supporting climate-tech startups and guiding them through the crucial early stages of company building? At G-Force, we are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to: (1) lead the delivery and coordination of multiple multi-partner EU-projects, primarily climate-tech innovation and entrepreneurship programmes, (2) support our portfolio companies to secure grants, and (3) help G-Force win new European projects.

This role involves working closely with early-stage entrepreneurs (from academics venturing into entrepreneurship for the first time through to experienced founders), helping them grow their ventures and commercialize research outcomes. We place a key focus on ensuring diversity and inclusion are central to every programme, including dedicated programmes for female-led startups and underfunded regions. You will work in partnership with other VC’s, business support ecosystems, universities and R&D stakeholders, to design and deliver differentiated venture-building, acceleration, and other market-driven services to make a real impact on the climate-tech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of G-Force’s European entrepreneurship programmes,

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality outcomes, and strong stakeholder satisfaction.

- Oversee all phases of project execution, from initial planning and promotion to delivery and reporting.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and partners to ensure smooth collaboration across the project lifecycle.

- Design, facilitate and schedule workshops, webinars, and mentoring sessions designed to support climate-tech startups.

- Depending on your expertise, provide 1:1 mentorship to startups and entrepreneurs.

- Conduct grant scans for both G-Force and our Portfolio companies to identify relevant public funding opportunities & provide the required follow-on application support.

Who are we looking for

Requirements:

- At least 5 years of experience in project management or a relevant field, particularly in fast-paced environments.

- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and navigate complex, multi-partner projects.

- Previous experience working with startups and innovation ecosystems, with an understanding of entrepreneurship.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

- Resilience and a strong ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with teams in a remote, high-intensity environment.

- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new environments and challenges.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Willingness to travel across Europe for project delivery (approximately 2-4 times per year).

- Passion for climate-tech and sustainability, with a strong interest in tackling climate challenges.

- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

- Based in Slovakia and comfortable with a remote employee set-up

Desirable:

- Previous experience providing mentorship to startups or early-stage ventures.

- Experience working with grant-funded projects, particularly in the EU context.

- Experience in a hands-on business-support programme coordinator role
