Wirecard was a German payment processor and financial services provider. The company collapsed after an international financial scandal.

Responsibilities: * Project management and delivery of mobile software products * Team management * Recruiting * Managed resource allocation for projects (ongoing development and maintenance)

Achievements: * Built an iOS development team in the Slovak office in Košice (~25 people) * Started an academy program to train junior developers and automation QAs * Created an environment that supports and rewards self-improvement

Failures: * Ignored many warning signs.

I started as a Project Manager and was promoted to Team Lead after 12 months. As a PM I worked on high-complexity fintech projects involving multicultural distributed teams:

UPJŠ is one of the best universities in Slovakia. I helped upgrade some of their facilities.

Responsibilities: * Managed upgrade and expansion of university research park - Technicom * Managed research and development activities involving more than 70 researchers * Responsible for delivering the project from inception to closure and compliance with all applicable rules * Coordinated tasks and deliverables across project activities * Set up internal project processes, communications, and data sharing * Coordinated and negotiated with all involved parties: partner universities, companies, vendors, construction companies, architects, and other professionals * Responsible for a budget of 4,5 mil. Euro

Achievements: * Successful on-time delivery * Added 500 m2 of laboratory and office space * Renovated 900 m2 of university facilities * State-of-the-art IT infrastructure upgrade
