Site Lead: Established R&D Center in Kosice: Successfully built the R&D center from the ground up and seamlessly integrated it with the rest of the company. Introduced the company to the local market and negotiated several key partnerships. I assessed the existing situation and prepared a strategy for the growth of the Kosice branch, including how to retain people, hire new colleagues, and launch a marketing campaign to be more visible.

Co-created "Delivery Vision": Developed a comprehensive delivery vision to position the company for global growth, enabling a focus on high-value initiatives while considering talent acquisition and operational realities. Strategic Planning: Prepared a strategy to achieve the vision, incorporating principles and specific actionable steps. I proposed organizational structures and systems to support this strategy. Project Allocation: Optimized project allocation processes to ensure effective utilization of talent. I defined dashboards for better visualizations. Health Metrics: I introduced metrics to assess and track project health better. Presales and Delivery Integration: Streamlined the integration of presales activities with delivery operations for seamless project execution. Project Reporting: Implemented robust reporting mechanisms to provide clear visibility into project status and progress. Coaching and Management Consulting: Provided coaching and management consulting to enhance team performance and leadership capabilities.

I built and managed a new R&D center, negotiating resources and budgets with executives and ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards. I Hired a team of 35 software engineering, product, and support professionals, doubling the headcount within a year while maintaining stable delivery and creating a values-based working environment with minimal fluctuation. I co-developed and executed a comprehensive growth plan for the site, encompassing people, organizational structures, knowledge, premises, and communication between R&D sites in Košice, Prague, and the USA. I created a local leadership structure with defined responsibility areas and introduced the concept of technical leads to cover essential technical competencies. We delivered the company's first MVP application running on AWS Cloud on time and within quality standards, including product management. We developed a solution based on Kubernetes and microservices for the hybrid deployment (on-premise, cloud, both) of our product suite. We implemented Single Sign-On (SSO, KeyCloak) and User Management solutions to our entire product suite. We produced innovative Proof of Concepts (PoCs) such as emotion recognition and Automated Pause Resume (APR). I gradually extended the engineering center's competencies to include product management, support, professional services, and internal support functions. I fostered relationships and stakeholders effectively, ensuring alignment and collaboration. I led an Initiative to define a product portfolio and connect the dots between sales, product, and engineering units. As a part of the top management team, I was responsible for product and engineering, contributing to strategic decisions and overall company growth.

I led three months of training with KPI TUKE for people with the potential to become software developers. I started with hiring—the right candidate selection, organizing everything with the University, defining quality gates, the scope of training, and benchmarks for what is excellent, good enough, and not okay; managing the final round of "the exam." I coached people throughout the academy and allocated successful graduates to fit their new positions. Responsible for a budget of 0,6 million euro

Established and led a high-performing software development team of over 40 developers and testers within the process and administration department from scratch. Spearheaded preparing and negotiating contracts with external vendors for software delivery and specialized training. Oversaw the entire delivery process, ensuring successful project completion and acceptance. I orchestrated shifting from a “head selling” business model to product delivery by winning an internal contest within the Deutsche Telekom IT group. I developed and executed comprehensive business plans, cost estimations, and ROI analyses for new Internet of Things (IoT) development teams, driving innovation and collaboration within the group. I formulated a strategic vision to establish a radio competence center in partnership with the Technical University in Kosice. I managed a substantial budget of €1.4 million, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources to support business goals. I led the TSO AD team, ensuring alignment with business requirements and delivering services/solutions within agreed quality and quantity parameters according to OLA, SLA, SA, and DA contracts. I fostered and maintained robust relationships with clients, counterparts, and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
