As the Sales Compensation Specialist, Finance you will own and support day-to-day administration of the Sales commission tool, in our rapidly growing global Sales organization. This new position will be working closely with Sales, Sales Operations, HR and Payroll to ensure that the Sales commissions and related Sales bonuses are accurate, complete and paid on time.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter that constantly strives to scale and improve processes, with an eye for detail and ability to work independently to support the growth of a successful enterprise SaaS company.
You will fully immerse yourself in data, draw insight from analysis, and then develop compelling, synthesized recommendations.
Your job will be to:
Calculate and validate monthly commission payments and other Sales bonuses according to plans, review and audits of crediting rules, commission payments and monthly/quarterly close
Distribute monthly commission statements, individual commission plans, manage trouble tickets or queries from Sales employees
Collaborate with various business partners, provide strategic insights, financial modeling and recommendations to build best-in-class variable program
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of plans and relevant policies and application of those policies, monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis;
Participate in plan design and process documentation - playing the key role in crafting the best “user experience” for all participants
Build trust and relationships with key stakeholders
Regularly update relevant system with current information and reference data - employee and commission plan information
Daily administration of Sales Commission tool
2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related function
Experience in Sales Compensation in fast-paced environment is a plus
Strong problem solving and analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable reports, metrics and insights
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with a diverse teams and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
Ability to handle variety of complex tasks, working with partial/conflicting data
