
We are seeking a responsible and reliable Trading Desk Specialist – Monitoring & Incident Response to support the development and operation of virtual power plant solutions within our growing organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the technical, operational, and data-driven aspects of distributed energy resource aggregation, energy trading, and market operations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily monitoring and verification of market orders on OKTE and OTE
Ad-hoc nomination corrections: Swiftly identify and correct any discrepancies in nominations to maintain operational integrity
Supporting incident response related to trading and operational deviations
Monitoring virtual power plant operations and market activities
Acting as first-line support for operational and technical issues
Identifying incidents, analyzing root causes, and escalating when necessary
Comprehensive reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate reports on trading activities, positions, and market data.
Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, especially in daily operational tasks
Interest in green energy technologies
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and operational systems
Technical background or education in energy systems, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field is an advantage
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work in a dynamic environment
Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under routine and time-sensitive conditions
The position requires availability for work on weekends and public holidays as part of continuous operational coverage.
