
Tasks and responsibilities:
Volunteer Coordinator
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers for both online and in-person programs, in close cooperation with other program team members
Coordinate volunteer engagement, scheduling, and communication across different programs
Build and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive volunteer community
Foster strong relationships with volunteers, ensuring they feel valued, motivated, and connected to the mission of Spolu s odvahou
Prepare and distribute the volunteer newsletter
Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records, including agreements and personal information in the volunteer database
Organise volunteer meetings, appreciation events, and community-building activities
Close collaboration with program team to identify volunteer needs and continuously improve the volunteer experience
Budgetary Oversight: Assist the Country Lead in monitoring and maintaining related budget to ensure cost-effectiveness
Growth & Strategy: Ensure smooth delivery and identify strategic opportunities for further development and scaling
Supervision: Support the preparation, supervision, and emotional well-being of volunteers, ensuring they are well-equipped to support the children during the programs.
Quality Assurance & Representation
Standards & Safety: Guarantee that all activities meet the SeriousFun Children’s Network Criteria, as well as the safety standards and core values of the Spolu s odvahou Foundation.
Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the foundation’s mission, values, and "therapeutic recreation" spirit in public spaces and professional settings upon request.
Ad-hoc team support (mainly organizational support)
We are looking for an energetic, whole-hearted, hands-on Program Specialist to oversee and implement our programs in Slovakia.
University education (Bachelor's degree)

A valid driver's license and access to a private car are an advantage. Occasional use of a private vehicle for work purposes may be required, with all business travel expenses fully reimbursed.
Knowledge of the Hungarian language is an advantage.
Mostly home office job - candidate must be based in Bratislava or surrounding as regular meetings in Bratislava approx. once a month are required + programs take place mainly in Bratislava
