ERP – IFS Application Analyst

The IFS Application Analyst will support the IT Manager (Voderady) and is a key member of the IT Team. The role will also work closely/collaborate with wider business functional stakeholders across the organization in Slovakia, the UK, and over time, other locations as the business scales.

The role will be responsible for supporting the first-line functional & technical support of the live (production) IFS ERP System. The role will help to automate processes and develop the ERP administration, customization, lobbies, and business reporting. The role will also identify business needs and system functional gaps to help formulate and/or evolve technical solutions and will drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and exploit the full capabilities of InoBat’s IFS platform across the business.

The role will apply technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify and resolve system delivery and /or operational issues. In addition, this individual will also be responsible for implementing system improvements to optimize performance and uptime in a manner consistent with business goals and industry best practices. 

This is a great opportunity for somebody who wants to build on existing their existing IFS system experience in an e-mobility company that will scale rapidly over the next 5 years, growing from a pilot R&D facility in Slovakia to Giga-scale production capabilities in multiple locations.

Reporting to the IT Manager (Voderady), with a dotted line to the ERP Project Manager, the role will be responsible for providing both functional and technical first-line operational support of the IFS ERP system in Slovakia and the UK. The role will take the lead in diagnosing and resolving system issues, managing active users, and maintaining system performance, and identifying potential opportunities for improvement.

• Create business output documentation and reports;

• Maintain security administration of ERP system and ensure users have proper access levels to the appropriate functionality, working with InoBat’s Head of Cyber or equivalent as required;

• Develop a deep functional & technical understanding of all system modules, workflows and all other aspects of configuration built into the system to support improvements, and where necessary to aid troubleshooting;

• Be the first point of contact InoBat Auto’s IFS user community, and triage functional/technical issues with vendor assistance as required;

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with end users and functional management teams across the business;

• Support Process Owners & Key Users/Super Users in the preparation of training material and deliver training to end users;

• Participate in project workshops to help deliver fit-for-purpose functional solutions, and maintain system knowledge;

• Work productively, unsupervised and multitask across concurrent projects, delivering to agreed deadlines;

• Build an understanding of battery technologies and associated manufacturing processes, as well as having a technical background, as this role will need to work closely with all front-line business functions, including the production areas and vendor technology teams.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Strong communication, and end-user support experience;

• basic level SQL query construction;

• a highly motivated self-starter capable of working both independently and as a member of an extended/virtual team;

• productive communication (spoken/written) skills, and customer-facing/end-user support experience;

• able to quickly establish good working relationships/rapport with users;

• able to work well with people from all levels of an organisation;

• able to work under pressure and consistently delivery against competing deadlines;

• willingness and ability to travel to other InoBat Auto locations as required to perform job responsibilities Participation in routine meetings related to the ERP system (implementation and operational support) and core IT team sessions /events;

• B2 Level English (spoken/written), as all company business is undertaken in this language;

• good analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio.

• Educational Specialization: A bachelor’s degree in an IT related subject would be advantageous. IT qualification in ERP solutions or IFS software would be advantageous.

  
  

• Practice in the sector: At least 3 years’ experience in a similar analyst/administrator/support role.
