Service Desk & End-User Support: Day-to-day first-level support across our offices: accounts and identity lifecycle, hardware, Microsoft 365 troubleshooting, onboarding and offboarding (roughly 40–50% of the role).
Microsoft 365 & Azure Operations, Networking: Keep our tenant and offices healthy: Entra ID, licensing, endpoint management, backups, monitoring, and office networking (VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls).
Security Hardening & Cleanup Projects: Improve security configuration across Microsoft 365 and Azure, operate and tune the EDR platform, and bring standard baselines and clear documentation to setups that grew organically as we scaled.
Tool Research & Rollout: Research software solutions, prepare structured comparisons, run pilots, and drive adoption with simple guides and trainings.
Vendor Coordination: Coordinate external vendors and suppliers, from quotes to chasing deliveries and tickets, so external work actually gets done.
Practical AI Adoption: Use AI tools hands-on in your daily work and get colleagues up to speed with guides and short trainings.
Communication: Explain IT changes clearly and empathetically to technical and non-technical colleagues alike.
Experience: 2–4 years in IT support or IT operations. We care more about what you can figure out and how quickly you learn than about the exact number of years.
Microsoft Ecosystem: Working experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD), and the appetite to go deeper into endpoint management and security configuration.
Support Mindset: You genuinely enjoy helping people. First-level support is a core, permanent part of this role, and you take pride in doing it well.
Self-Learner: When you hit something you do not know, you research it, test it, and come back with a working, documented answer. You can take a small project from a short brief to a delivered outcome.
AI & Modern Tooling: You already use AI tools daily in your own work and can show colleagues how to do the same.
Documentation Habits: You document as you go, so the next person (including future you) can pick up where you left off.
Languages: Fluency in English and Slovak.
Nice to have
Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, or endpoint management.
Business Systems: Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP) or engineering tools.
Mission with impact: The satisfaction of solving challenges associated with making ultra-deep geothermal energy a commercial reality.
Real Ownership of Your Projects: You run your evaluations, security reviews, and rollouts end to end, with a lot of freedom in how you get there and experienced colleagues around when you need a second opinion.
Growth Outlook: The ideal end state of this role is full ownership of the IT function. As you prove yourself on support and projects, the scope grows with you, all the way to running IT at GA Drilling.
Culture: A flat, open, non-bureaucratic environment where you work directly with leadership and decisions are made quickly.
Freedom and Flexibility: Flexible working time. To be fair upfront: the support part of this role needs you on site in Bratislava most of the time, with occasional home office where the work allows it, we can adapt as we go.
Innovation Mandate: Freedom to pilot and implement AI tools that make a real difference.
In-house Salad Rituals: We make salads together at lunchtime, turning a quick meal into a simple, cost-effective way to connect as a team.
Competitive industry compensation & benefits.
