LEAF Academy is entering its second decade. Our Entrepreneurial Leadership (EL) program sits at the heart of what makes us distinct — a space where students connect their passions to real projects, real stakeholders, and real impact.
We are looking for someone who is energised by that challenge, someone who:
brings genuine experience from education, business, or the public sector,
knows what good learning looks like and practices it, and
sees teaching as a form of entrepreneurship in itself.
Your mission is to help students develop the skills, habits, and confidence to turn ideas into action, and to model that process yourself.
Teach the EL course for approximately six hours per week, designing and delivering learning activities rooted in human-centered design, project management, and leadership.
Coach and consult student project teams and colleagues, supporting both the process and the people behind it.
Coordinate collaborations with companies and NGOs, connecting student work to real-world partners and contexts.
Contribute to internal Academy projects and external entrepreneurial education initiatives.
Advise a small group of students through regular meetings and personalised support.
Candidates will be evaluated on the following:
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to identify opportunities and translate them into actionable projects. Prior experience in a startup, incubators, or accelerators is a significant advantage.
Collaboration & Community: A proactive self-starter who balances independent ownership with genuine commitment to team success.
Student Rapport: A track record or strong probability of building trust-based relationships with young people that result in better engagement and growth.
Facilitation: Demonstrated ability to design and lead learning experiences.
Practical expertise in HCD or Design Thinking is highly desirable
The Academy is right for you if you want to contribute to a brighter future for Slovakia and Central Europe by transforming our education. At LEAF Academy, work is more than a job: it’s a calling to help young people understand and develop Character, Excellence, Entrepreneurial Leadership, and Civic Engagement.
What we offer:
A Learning Community: As an NEASC-accredited institution, we uphold the highest global standards of educational excellence while fostering a sense of local belonging.
Deeply Purposeful Work: You’ll mentor and inspire young minds, helping students turn their ideas into real-world projects that improve their communities.
Your Own Growth Engine: We believe in our staff as much as our students. You’ll enjoy a supportive environment that encourages you to innovate, take risks, and develop yourself and others.
Innovation in the Heart of Bratislava: Join us in our modern building where tradition meets future-oriented pedagogy. You will have the scope to build and improve systems that affect every person in the school — staffulty, students, and families. It is operational work with genuine institutional impact.
