Prečo sa chcem stať mentorom v tomto programe? Do mentoringového programu sa chcem zapojiť preto, že dlhodobo verím v princíp „give back“. Počas svojej kariéry som prešiel rôznymi typmi organizácií – od startupov, cez scale-upy až po veľké firmy – a opakovane som videl, že rozdiel medzi úspechom a stagnáciou často nespočíva v talente, ale v správnom vedení, kontexte a schopnosti robiť lepšie rozhodnutia v správnom čase. Čo budem považovať za úspech? Za úspech budem považovať moment, keď mentee dokáže jasnejšie pomenovať svoje ciele, získa istotu v rozhodovaní a začne konať systematickejšie – nie na základe dojmov, ale na základe faktov, priorít a dlhodobej stratégie. Úspechom pre mňa nie je „hotová rada“, ale posun v spôsobe myslenia. Čo môžem odovzdať mentees? Môžem priniesť praktický pohľad z reálneho biznisu: • skúsenosti s budovaním a škálovaním tímov a procesov, • schopnosť prepájať stratégiu s každodenným výkonom, • kritické a analytické myslenie pri riešení komplexných problémov, • otvorenú spätnú väzbu, ktorá je konštruktívna, ale úprimná. Zároveň viem pomôcť mentees pozerať sa na veci v širšom kontexte – nielen čo robiť, ale prečo a aký to má dopad v strednodobom a dlhodobom horizonte. Mentoring vnímam ako obojstranný proces. Program mi môže pomôcť lepšie porozumieť výzvam novej generácie lídrov a profesionálov, konfrontovať vlastné skúsenosti s inými pohľadmi a ďalej si rozvíjať schopnosť zrozumiteľne odovzdávať know-how. Zároveň verím, že kvalitný mentoringový vzťah je zdrojom energie a inšpirácie pre obe strany.
