ESG/Sustainability manager will be responsible for the definition and implementation of sustainability strategy focused on the Cradle to Cradle approach and assuring that Company products and processes are environmentally friendly (minimizing carbon footprint) and compliant not only with local and industry regulations but also with best in class sustainability practices.
Develop and implement a Sustainability business strategy showcasing InoBat Auto C2C (Cradle to Cradle) philosophy;
implement ESMS, assuring its proper functioning and integration with the Company business strategy;
design strategies and deliver programs to increase internal and external stakeholder engagement, awareness and commitment to sustainability;
define and implement sustainability metrics;
manage and deliver annual sustainability reporting projects in compliance with international standards, guidelines and frameworks (including GRI, UNGC, ISO26000, SASB, and SDGs);
oversee sustainability report development, ensuring alignment with company guidelines, trends, stakeholder input & concerns and corporate strategy & directions;
oversee LCA of company products and processes;
define and implement grievance mechanism with stakeholders;
manage all communication activities related to sustainability both internally and externally;
advise internal functions on the integration of sustainability principles into business processes and its continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent understanding of Sustainability and CSR/CSV strategic approaches and advisory tools;
knowledge of current international sustainability tools and trends, (eg SDGs related) and their application in business;
knowledge of ESMS implementation;
knowledge of LCA methodology;
understanding of key sustainability issues and how they can be integrated into business to create measurable value;
knowledge of sustainability requirements of local legislation, standards and international best practice;
strong analytical skills;
excellent verbal and written communication skills;
proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting;
strong ownership;
attention to details;
customer orientation;
empathy.
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in a sustainability-related role with practical experience in Sustainability reporting (GRI, UNGC as a minimum), ESMS implementation.
Educational Specialization: University degree in engineering, finance or similar fields.
