NA: Invoices for tooling funded purchases are approved by tooling analyst and buyer. After approvals invoices are posted in BBC on respective purchase order

NA: All TIAF and other types documents multiple scans & e-mailing of the same documents. Leads to ineficiency & is difficult to track. Takes too much time – approximately 7,5 minutes for 2nd level approval process. Scanned documents in a low quality, which may lead to errors. Overtime required as a consequence . Some internal customer complaint the process flow

EU: Tooling invoices approval process is done via invoices sent manually based on data in the tracking tool, too much manual work. Overtime required as a consequence. Buyers and approvers has no information about the invoice status.

Improve AR open items clearing process

Our customer is sending us regularly the payment details. Comparing to other customers, Volkswagen sends us details on material number level, which is not validated on SB

AR team, but directly loaded into SAP.

P r o b l e m

In case Volkswagen rejects part or whole delivery, this is consequently booked in SAP with + sign. It is necessary clear such as items manually, which is very time consuming, it takes 8 hours to clear 10.000 rows.

R o o t - c a u s e s

SAP does not include such as transaction, which would clear all the open items on material number level. Instead, it is necessary to export the data into Excel, analyze it and manual clear. There are 200.000 rows today to clear, as this was not cleared since 2010.

To implement Excel formulas, which indicate what items should be cleared and which not.
