Are you a proactive, organized, and people-oriented HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact?

We are seeking an energetic HR Officer to join our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EME) Area Office team in Bratislava. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing end-to-end recruitment, streamlining HR administration, and supporting the complete employee lifecycle across an international mission-driven organization.


WHAT WOULD BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?    

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: draft and post job ads, source and screen candidates, and participate in interview panels.

  • Coordinate candidate communications and facilitate smooth, welcoming onboarding experiences for new hires.

Employee Lifecycle & Operations

  • Oversee employee lifecycle administration, including new hire documentation, contract updates, and accurate HR data maintenance.

  • Manage leave and absence tracking in compliance with internal policies.

  • Act as a reliable point of contact for staff inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

HR Administration & Payroll

  • Maintain comprehensive HR record-keeping to ensure compliance with organization policies and local employment legislation.

  • Support payroll processing by compiling month-end inputs and reviewing employee expense reimbursements.

Event & Logistics Support

  • Provide operational support for organization events, including travel arrangements, visa application processing, and logistics planning

  • Contribute to ad-hoc HR and operational projects as needed.

Koho hľadáme

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on HR experience. (ideally in a generalist role)

  • Bachelor´s degree in Human Resources Management, Economics, Administration, Public Policy/Administration, or other similar discipline

  • Fluent in both English and Slovak with great cross-cultural communication skills.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Experience with any HRIS (we use Workday)
