The Role
EULiST is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communication Manager to lead, update and implement the Alliance’s communication and outreach strategies across Europe. This is a pivotal role within our international team, ensuring high-quality internal and external communication aligned with EULiST’s values and vision.
Key Responsibilities
Content creation: Draft original content, integrate contributions from others, and adapt materials for various formats and audiences. Produce and coordinate materials ranging from feature articles and reports to short- form digital content in collaboration with partners (social media posts and video scripts).
Social media management: Plan and run EULiST’s social media strategy to enhance visibility and engagement (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram). Create engaging posts, grow audiences, and ensure regular, brand-aligned communication that supports visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Digital platforms: Oversee the website, newsletters, and other online tools; develop a multilingual hub for students, researchers, and stakeholders. Lead the creation of a centralized, multilingual online hub as a resource for students, researchers, and policy actors across Europe
Visibility and outreach: Promote EULiST’s initiatives and achievements through coordinated communication and media relations.
Stakeholder engagement: Develop targeted communication for students, academics, policymakers, and institutions.
Monitor and report: Chair the PR Unit, coordinate communication across member universities, and report on impact. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts across all platforms. Provide actionable insights and regular reports to the Secretary General and leadership bodies.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, International Relations, or a closely related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Excellent written and verbal English skills (C2); other EU languages an advantage.
Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills
Team leadership and collaborative working skills in transnational environments
Experienced in multi-platform communication and audience-specific messaging.
Proven experience in international or EU-funded projects.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms, and design software is a plus.
