General Staff (GV, UN Salary Scale valid for the Slovak Republic since 1 Jan 2009). Step one of the salary scale corresponds to all inclusive fee 1490 EUR per month (take home payment 1455 EUR per month - income is exempted from taxation). 6 weeks of paid annual leave per year (2.5 days per completed month of service). 24 days of paid sick leave per year (2 days per completed month of service). Special medical insurance.

Náplň práce

Under the overall supervision of the Emergency Coordinator and the Head of Office (HoO), and direct supervision of the Senior Project Associate (ER/Integration), the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the successful implementation of the Integration Project.  

Core functions / Responsibilites:

  1. Provide direct implementation of the project by collecting and disseminating necessary information to promote the programme to the target beneficiaries

  2. Carry out profile needs assessment as required

  3. Work closely with the Senior Project Associate, maintain information flow on all stages of project implementation.

  4. Keep abreast of Protection and Counter Trafficking protocols and relevant referral pathways for the affected population

  5. Coordinate the integration of project beneficiaries, which includes inter alia the following tasks:

  6. Identify the beneficiaries' individual needs, assist them in the preparation of a integration plan, conduct monitoring progress interviews

  7. Assist in the scheduling and use of integration programmes for beneficiaries and assist in the identification of material needs that may address and contribute to integration.

  8. Keep records of all information related to the return and reintegration process (procurement, services used etc.) for documentation/clarification requests.

  9. Actively contribute to the establishment of referral pathways

  10. Keep abreast and vigilant of minimum safety and security thresholds with the facility

  11. Facilitate coordination with partner organizations operating shelters/temporary housing. Assist in the integration process and ensures administration and that the necessary information is obtained from the organizations.

  12. Participate in the development of the follow-up system and the development of the monitoring forms.

  13. Implement regular monitoring interviews, exit and follow up interview with beneficiaries.  

  14. Participate in official meetings and field travel according to the project’s requirements.

  15. Participate in the project events such as study visits, an online workshop for Social Workers (SW) , and expert meetings with relevant governmental and non-governmental actors in the field of SW protocols, protection, and counter-trafficking.

  16. Assist with the preparation and dissemination of reports on the study visits, on expert meetings, online workshops and of the study on the pilot program (best practices, lessons learned, recommendations…etc)

  17. Assist the supervisor in monitoring the direct project implementation activities according to the plan.

  18. Manage data and assist with the drafting of project progress reports and final reports, complying with the reporting requirements of the project.

  19. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, or;

  • Bachelor degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Pedagogy, Psychology, Sociology and a related field with 3 years of relevant professional experience


  • Knowledge of social and development issues

  • Experience in the field of counter-trafficking

  • Experience in working with vulnerable groups, especially with -victims of trafficking is a distinct advantage

  • Previous work experience with national, regional or international public bodies would be an advantage;

  • Strong organisational skills including experience contributing to the management of projects is an advantage;


Fluency in English and Slovak is required. Working knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian is an advantage.


  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint (e.g. Word, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
