Role of Talent Identification team that you would be leading is to uncover that potential and assess talented applicants for various LEAF online and offline programs. To make this happen you will need to maintain and improve our selection methodology based on researching, creating and implementing proactive and innovative methods to source talented candidates and keep building capabilities of the team to do so. Finally, you will provide support to various teams and team members when it comes to talent identification and selection.
As a Talent Identification Area Leader you will be responsible for:
Continuously improving the talent identification methodology and selection processes built on research in various fields of social sciences, in part. through systematic feedback loop process of selected program participants in the past
Defining the selection criteria (e.g., integrity, excellence, leadership potential) and the methodology for selection of candidates against these criteria, aligning all involved in selection process
Assessing / Screening applicant’s competencies against agreed requirements by using appropriate methods and providing recommendations on candidate selection to the initiative leaders
Identifying best practices in selection/assessing of the desired target audiences and suggesting relevant improvements
Coordinating and building capabilities of the team of talent selection specialists or other colleagues, involved in talent selection
Relevant work / life experience (3 years minimum) in people assessment and research (preferably in social sciences)
Familiarity with different types of assessment tools, both online and in person, as well as assessment/psychometric methodology is preferred.
Good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong-hands-on attitude, self-motivated and result-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to establish relationship of trust easily
Judgment / Ability to assess not only the current state but also the potential of an individual candidate on any given dimension (e.g., character, leadership)
Passion for the LEAF mission, passion for the role / challenges listed above and alignment with LEAF values
Proficiency in English language
