The Documentation Team is responsible for documenting various product features and putting together business use cases to enable our clients to use our platform solutions independently. Used as a centralized source of truth by our clients, prospects, and consultants, our documentation is a central aspect of supporting our scalability and efficiency.
Led by Jordan Roper (Director of Product + Growth), you will drive one of the strategic initiatives to gather, transform, and centralize the knowledge in the company.
By taking on the Documentation Lead challenge you will get exposed to a complex multinational environment in which you will need to actively collaborate with stakeholders from different departments (Product, Client Services, and Sales).
As a Documentation Team lead, your job will consist of the following:
Define and update documentation guidelines, communication standards, and communication channels.
Hire, manage, mentor, and empower the docs team to support all product modules.
Make sure upcoming features are documented before each product update.
Establish cooperation with Product, Sales, Clients Services, and Support to improve documentation of existing features based on the departments’ feedback.
Enable our clients, partners, and internal employees to execute more tasks independently in our products.
Improve our products’ usability by analyzing the in-app experience and adjusting the language used accordingly.
Drive and ambition: You love to tackle new challenges, the bigger the challenge the bigger the motivation to make it happen and learn something new.
Excellent written command of English: Your English is on a native level and you can clearly communicate the most complex ideas.
Clear communication and team player spirit: The ability to communicate concisely and convincingly in a way that demonstrates clarity of underlying thought. Prior experience with cross-functional work in a highly collaborative environment is a plus .
A network for sourcing your future team members with a similar profile to yourself -- driven and ambitious with an eagerness to learn.
Management/Leading experience is a plus. You have experience leading a team, setting team goals, training, and empowering team members to deliver on their objectives.
Documentation and/or copywriting experience is a plus. You have written feature documentation, user guides, and release notes. You are familiar with documentation tools and processes.
