You will evaluate and select applicants, coordinate the selection process, and improve our selection methodology that is based on recent research in various fields of social sciences and tailor made for our unique requirements. You will also have the opportunity to create and implement proactive and innovative methods to source candidates and support other team members.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Defining the selection criteria (e.g., integrity, excellence, leadership potential) and the methodology (Application screening, interview, verifying references,...) for selection of candidates against these criteria, aligning all parties involved in selection process
Assessing/ Screening applicant’s competencies against agreed requirements by using appropriate methods (documents screening, assessment center, interview, verifying references,...) and providing recommendations on candidate selection to the initiative leaders
Continuously improving methodology backed by recent research in psychology and other social sciences with focus on Ethics assessment
Continuously improving the talent identification and selection processes and providing input to the initiative leaders on effective ways to attract the right target population, educating and coaching other team members on approach to selection of the desired candidates
Coordinating the selection process (e.g., input on selection dates, coordinating schedule for interviewers, scheduling decision making meetings, communication, etc.) among all relevant stakeholders (e.g. initiative leader, other interviewers, etc.)
Identifying best practices in selection of the desired target audiences and suggesting relevant improvements
Maintaining database of all applicants
Ensuring compliance with legal and staff management practices regarding confidentiality of students’ private data
Continuous search for IT systems/utilities in order to improve selection process (e.g. proctoring services for assessments)
Advanced use of scheduling, testing and application management systems (e.g. Calendly, Formstack, Moodle, etc.)
Supporting CRM team in TI data and processes integration
Relevant work/ life experience for the challenges described above (3 years minimum), natural interest in communication, people assessment and interviewing as such
Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong-hands-on attitude, self-motivated and result-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to establish relationship of trust easily
Judgment/ Ability to assess not only the current state but also the potential of an individual candidate on any given dimension (e.g., character, leadership)
Passion for researching and findings new ways of assessment
Ability and flexibility to learn and use various IT systems and utilities needed in selection process (e.g. Calendly, Formstack, Moodle, etc.)
Passion for the LEAF mission, passion for the role/challenges listed above and alignment with LEAF values
Proficiency in English language
